It’s that time...

It’s definitely that time... we all need something positive to focus on this week... so...
What are YOU thankful for?

I’m deeply thankful I’m alive, and recovering from surgery and respiratory failure.

I’m also thankful for all of you. Such an extraordinary group of people here. We are all survivors!

I am very thankful for my friends, family, my dogs, my job, house...and just all that is in my life right now.
so VERY thankful for SR and all of you! Without I don’t know that I would have accomplished all I have in the past year! You all helped me move on and do that in a very healthy way. Thank you! And I wish you all a very blessed and happy Thanksgiving! 😘

Never thought I would say this but I'm deeply thankful that my ExAH2b left ME finally. I have an amazing life and friends and was unable to see it and engage through my haze of codependency. Grateful that everyone stuck around despite this. Grateful for the clarity that this site has helped me gain.

I am thankful for my two lovely boys, for my wonderful parents, for my incredible friends, for my recovering health, my amazing physiotherapist, for all the clarity and support I receive from the generous people on this forum and especially on this cold, wet and windy night, I'm thankful for my hot water bottle.

Thanksgiving is tomorrow. No matter where you are or how difficult your current environment is... drive or hide if you have to... and give yourself a few minutes alone to reflect on all the positive aspects of your life... your resilience, your character, your children, animals you love, maybe you’re passionate about your job/work or a beautiful garden you’re obsessed with!

We definitely need more positive threads on here! It’s so important!

Well I'll throw this in this most positive thread! This was posted today by a person in my local community facebook page (she bakes and sells it).

I'm thankful for an evening Giving of Thanks service at a small church, with pies, coffee and genuine people. I'm thankful for many healthy connections in life, everywhere, each day.

I am thankful for my family and friends, a job that I enjoy after years of dreading going to work, and my cat occasionally allowing me to cuddle on him!
I forget sometimes where I have been and that this last year has been filled with a lot of blessings alongside the loneliness and grief.
