A quick check in.
Getting ready for work on day 9 sober. That gives me about 6 of the last 12 weeks af.
need to keep reminding myself of where that one drink will take me and how fast it wrecks me. It's been a long couple years with intermittent attempts to stop. The more I try to quit the better I think I am getting at it.
Thanks all

9 days is wonderful. I am so glad you are back in the sober game.
That is very inspiring.
I have a choice before the 1st drink if I ask for help when it becomes a thought. 2nd drink I never had or have a choice.
you are doing wonderful!

I remember the days of I am going to just do 3 shots....then I lose count...then the bottle is almost empty anyway.
Glad those days are forever behind me.
My brother has been diagnosed with liver failure. He has about a 35% chance of making it 5 years. The whole time he has dialysis 3 days a week for 3 to 5 hours.
He had high BP for decades that caused the liver to go.
If this isn't reason to never drink again, I don't know what is.
Headed to the gym.
Let's do this!
Thanks.
