2years8months & feel unbreakable

Had a lot happen to me lately.
But chipped away at it until pretty much nothing is left to sort out.
I remained strong and had the self belief that sobriety has given to me to conquer some really hard battles.

I sat in my new home to be the other day and felt at peace and know me and my daughter will be happy there. Felt quite emotional, like a feeling of, I don’t have to fight anymore I can relax and live a life without abuse.

Been out to watch the rugby in a sports bar today with my brother and an old friend which was nice. I can even handle pub atmosphere now without having any kind of issue with it. It’s just not a problem anymore.

Things are great.
I’m looking forward to my new life.
Thanks SR for being here
Thank you sobriety
And thank you me

Congrats on your sobriety. Managing your struggles and coming out stronger in the end. You are an inspiration to me that there is nothing in this world that a drink is going to make better!
