Journey continues
6 months is a long time for a drunk to be sober.
My shine started wearing off at around 6 months.
Being sober stopped being a new thing.
I still had hellish anxiety at 6 months though.
That could have led to relapse or a dr visit for some happy meds. Glad i hung in there.
But, based on what I have learned here, I can never totally let my guard down,.
I had a few close calls at relapse, I was at the edge again at 1 year and 2 years.
Some people seem to want to push, or pull, me off the relapse cliff. Call it crazy or call it life.
Thanks.

Hey I feel you. Yeah I got six months sober. But. I am one drink away from my world being turned upside down. Just like we was serious about when where how we were gonba get booze. I just flip the script and apply the same thing to being sober. I am an addict. And right now my addiction is sobriety. ✌
