Changing words can help
Saying "I'm thankful" instead of "I'm sorry".
Replacing "should" with "could".
"Healthy" as my guide rather than what's "right".
Three guide-lights I'm very thankful for and have found transformative.
Yesterday some suggestions were given to me that seemed like really good possibilities of a 'right' thing to do. I've been going over it in my mind this morning, giving it great 'consideration' (aka, my time, energy, attention) and stepping back from it I had the memory of how changed words have helped me. Changing "right action" to "healthy" has brought easy clarity. What seemed like a right action is not healthy for me. I'm very thankful for this clarity.
Also with the memory of "I don't need to get this right!! I'm human and it's okay to make mistakes."
I could have been doing something else this morning. (Ease, grace and kindness in not "should-ing" myself)
I trust in this process. There's a purpose in this.
I'm thankful for this wonderful place to mentally sort things out.
