How to add photos in a forum post???

How to add photos in a forum post???
I've tried to ad a photo but it only gives me URL and link options. Is there anyway you can just add a photo that's on your phone from an album? Confused here lol!

Hi angel eyes. I think you can upload a photo if you hit the paperclip icon at the top of the box. I say I think, because I haven’t been able to get it to work because it seems that the image needs to be resized and I’m too lazy for all that. Maybe someone else knows an easier way

You were close - all you need is the image tag - no URL tags are needed
I've left your second try as code to help you see whats needed.
To attach images directly from your phone you need to be in full reply mode, not quick reply...I'm not up with phone posting but that probably means you need in be in 'desktop view', not mobile view.
Once you're there, if you scroll down you'll see an 'attach files' box...then a 'manage attachments' button...
hit that and you can upload from your PC there, assuming it's within the prescribed limits of size (you'll see them there when you upload).
It might be easier to use the link method Anna suggested - if you use a site like post image again you can link by URL, but you can also upload directly from your device to the site.

I feel so stupid lol.... So confused....don't mind me, my head is still foggy with my withdrawal, plus tired!!! And many other symptoms. I'll get it right sooner or later. Thanx for trying to help!

in postimage, you need to copy the 'direct link'.
come back here to your post, and paste the link...make sure it's highlighted
click the image button in the toolbar above - looks like this
and when you submit the post it should work.
If you have no idea what I mean phones might be different and someone else will have to help

If bbcodes are enabled for this forum software, you should be able to insert an image in a post using [img]full url to image[/img]
You can also use it this way - [img width="999" height="999" title="whatever" alt="whatever"] url to image [/img]

Thanx everyone for your help. I think I'll figure it out once I'm on my laptop. Staying with my mom for my first 3 weeks of being sober and laptop is at home so I will try again next week when I'm home. Hopefully I get it all sorted out by then, on the laptop.....gee my brain feels fried right now lol!

I always use postimages.org and it works great. And you can size your pictures so they're the right size for forums.
