2 weeks sober!

Hi all!,
Well I made the 2 week mark, sober! Feeling okay besides the fact I feel like I got a sinus infection brewing ugh! I'm prone to getting them. I have bad allergies. The front of my neck feels sore.... Weird! Don't know if its allergy/ sinus infection related or something else. Having anxiety don't help either cause I will obsess over it and worry its something more serious. Hate anxiety!
Anyhow, still on the road to sobriety, getting my life back!
Hope everyone is doing good!

-Tara

Great job, Angeleyes!! Tomorrow is two weeks myself. High five 🥰

I hope you feel better soon. I had a wretched headache all night. My husband said I’m dehydrate. I think he’s right, I really haven’t replaced the wine I drank with any other liquids. It is an effort for me to remember to drink liquids if I’m not thirsty.

Awesome job! Keep going thru the various physical stuff- I know the first time I got a cold etc in sobriety I was so glad that I wasn't making it worse by drinking.

Glad you are here!

Congrats to you two on the two weeks sobriety! Be vigilant! It’s easy to backslide once you start feeling good again. I hope to keep reading about your progress!

Thank you all! ... Only thing I'm concerned about is the feeling of soreness in the front of my neck and some numbness in my jaw area. Could be anxiety, idk! Has anyone else had a symptom similar to this?

Congrats on 2 weeks Tara

If you're worried about your throat, maybe the best thing is to see a Dr? put your mind at rest?

Congratulations!!

2 weeks is huge, I’m so happy for you. I’ll bet you’re feeling so much better mentally and physically. I know you’ll continue to do great.
And I’ll drop my favorite AA slogan again and again:
We didn’t make it this far to only make it this far.

Congrats!!!! 14 days is no joke!

How great is it that we get to have our normal little stressors in life and actually be able to handle them!?

Congrats on two weeks angeleyes1111. You as well julyseacoast.

Allergies can cause all sorts of aches & pains angel eyes. Have you seen your doctor about it? Anxiety might be a contributor to your jaw pain if you grind or clench your teeth?
