70 Days
I feel wonderful, carefully optimistic as I know the journey I am on, and have not had a craving for awhile now.
I am still working the Steps, have a sponsor, hang out with sober friends, exercise, meditate and read the literature. I reach out to friends every morning and have meaningful discussions. I am not afraid to open up and be vulnerable to any and everyone who will listen.
I am doing well at work, and handling challenges as they come and not feeling the crippling anxiety I once felt. I feel content and for the most part, happy, in a self-aware way.
I sleep better, listening to night time meditations on breathing techniques. I use crystals for energy and rely on my Higher Power, the Universal Flow to guide me through every day and moment. I am becoming spiritually fitter every day.
I am able to show up for people, listen to them, care about them and speak from experience, not the ego.
I catch myself thinking constantly, and bring myself back to my Now. I think deeply about life, goals and my future in sobriety.
There is no turning back, I love life now. And I love it without alcohol. The gifts I get in every waking second of my life are leaving me more and more in awe.
Today, I am grateful to be an alcoholic.
