1 week today!
Hey guys.
Me again! I want to check in with my SR community and say today I am 1 week clean and sober.
I have to admit I feel very paranoid today. Like the feeling that knowone likes me at work and that people are coming after me because of my drunk past. I am a serious case of having one foot in yesterday and one foot in tomorrow but never in the present moment. I know it will pass and sharing this here is taking the power out of it.
I feel sick when I think about my behaviour on the recent relapse. I hate alcohol and drugs with every fibre if my being. I see how life CAN be nice without an anesthetic.
I pray for you all here at SR and want to show my gratitude on a daily basis for the support you provide. I struggle to get to meetings because of medical reasons and SR is a life saver.
Peace.

I am proud of you for sticking it out. But lets not stop there. Lets keep it going. Great things with sobriety maybe not right away. But its like little things that mean a lot kind of thing. Its a cool journey let me tell ya . so cool I'm still on the sober train 135 days later. ✌
