Day 74
All had had to do this early morning was look out the window as a reminder to stay sober. The neighbor kid has had a rough time with an addiction but I'm told he was cleaning himself up and doing very well, until this early AM. It was just after the bars close and four police cars followed him to his house. It didn't end well for him.
I'm happy to be sober but do feel sorry for the young man.
One day at a time folks!

Great job!
I just remembered something terrible I saw Fri am.
There is a church next door to our apt where my husband and I regularly attend AA meetings.
I was walking back and there was a guy - maybe early 20s- smoking with a half bottle of beer next to him. Made me so sad. Whether he's an alcoholic, potential one, whatever, he's definitely doing stuff not good for him....familiar to me for sure.
