For any suffering today, September 11th
Know that I am there with you. I always suffer on this date, I am not sure why, I didn't lose anyone nor was I directly affected, but it is a very emotional day for me, very.
I do know that my best friend's mom was in the air around NYC at the time of the attacks. She was a flight attendant for United. After 9/11 she shifted to work on private jets and cut back her hours.
My sister-in-law at the time watched everything from across the way in Jersey City. It took days for her to reach her very best friends who were working in the area.
I could not reach my dear friend Dave, who was like a father to me, for days. He worked in midtown, but not being from NYC I had no idea how far that was or where it was in relation to the attacks.
In any case, if you have suffered a loss- that day or as a result- I send you my love. I share in your pain.
This is a site that I visit each 9/11 and read about some of the wonderful, wonderful people who lost their lives. It seems like the least I can do. I didn't know any of them but I really feel peace reading the funny, sad, happy, weird, exciting, boring antidotes about them. Do feel to correct me if I am wrong, but from what I understand this was the business that suffered the greatest loss that day.

I generally don't come back to correct my spelling or auto-correct mistakes, but it seems particularly important for this post, I would want everything perfect for my loved one. Anecdote. Obviously not antidote.
I didn't think about it until you mentioned it, but that was an emotional day for a lot of people. Me included, and I didn't even know anyone in New York. I don't think about it much anymore. Terrorism is still out there. I'm adjusted to the new reality or something. Humans are strange species. I try to ignore the jerks.
