Heartbreaking news on a friend of JJ's

So sad. Another beautiful soul was taken this weekend due to an overdose. This young man was with JJ at a rehab that was Christian based and very helpful to his recovery. 'Ty" spent over a year at the rehab and he seemed to be doing so well. He was clean, got a job, bought a motorcycle AND a truck, had a girlfriend who he planned to marry AND a son on the way (due next month). Without warning, he used again. His family is beyond devastated as is so many people Ty helped in the past. Please say a prayer for Ty and his family during this very sad time. I don't know the nature of the overdose, but he was in the hospital for a few days, so likely was in a coma from loss of oxygen to his brain.
Addiction SUCKS!!!!!

How awful for so many people...prayers out for Ty and all who loved him including JJ and for the precious baby who will never know his father.

Addiction affects so many people, not just the addict. How awful this is for his family.

I am so very sorry. When a person has abstained for a period of time like that, their risk goes up so much more for overdose when and if they relapse.

My heart goes out to everyone involved. So sad.

All the more cruel in the face of so much potential.
Prayers for the healing of everyone involved.

So very sad for everyone!
