Sending you healing thoughts....

Have you been thinking of how you might be able to stop the insanity of drinking?

I hope you feel better soon. Small sips of water and rest today will help. Maybe some broth or light soup if you’re able to eat. I’m sure you feel bad enough to realize a major shift needs to happen. Recovery plan ideas?

Awe, Mummy. I am sad for you. I know how badly you want to be sober as I have followed your journey.
You CAN make it through today

Hope you feel better.

If you cannot stop on your own have you considered rehab?

I know that might sound scary but you’ve been relapsing and seem caught in a cycle.

You and your family are worth any investment to heal and become whole.

Good to see that “today” has finally come. But saying, “this has to be it” probably won’t be enough. You’ve tried the pure willpower method before. Probably going to need some help. AA, treatment, medicine, etc. I’d recommend making a plan for how you’ll try differently this time.

Do what you have to do. But your struggles to remain sober are more extensive than what just quitting social media can address. I hope you in your desperation you find the impetus to take on significant means of recovery.

Frankly, when I was drinking or trying to stop I don't remember anything that didn't "trigger" me.
