2 Weeks!
2 Weeks!
I know it's only a mini milestone in the grand scheme of things but it's pretty huge for me! It's the longest time I've stayed sober for years really and I'm feeling good Thanks to you all on SR I dont post an awful lot but I read when I'm struggling and it helps soo much. X
Thanks all really appreciate your inspirational replies
(I am still going to AA. I've not quite got into the "swing" of it yet as I dont really feel like I fit in. I'm not the most sociable person but I am going to stick with it. I'm also starting a 12 week relapse prevention group tomorrow)

Congrats rainbowalien!
I remember my early recovery and two weeks was a big milestone for me that I had previously thought unimaginable.
As to not quite feeling in the swing of AA yet, I can also relate. I will never be confused with a social butterfly, but the good news is my continued attendance at meeting s allowed me to become more comfortable with other people and to work on my interaction skills. What a great side benefit, because all I wanted to do was to not drink. WOOT!!!
