Patience

Patience is a virtue, especially in recovery. Recovery is playing the long game. To recover and live a fulfilling life free from the desire to drink/use and achieve your true potential in life requires patience. Remember this when you’re struggling or bored etc. There’s no quick fixes in recovery in my experience.

Yes, for sure. Learning patience is so important, especially in early recovery.

Agreed! I was determined to be instantly happy & energetic as soon as it was out of my system. I think some turn back to it in frustration when that doesn't happen. Very good reminder, brighterday.

Yes I agree . just like when in addiction. We be patient for the store to open. All you do is apply it to sobriety . all we have to wait is one day........at a time😃

No problem 🙏 Stay sober/clean and keep working on yourself every day and living honestly and you’ll get the rewards of recovery in time. It’s a gift that keeps on giving.
