Update
As l havent been on here for a while l thought l would put on a quick update for anyone who is interested!
This time last year the penny dropped that my AH was secretly drinking. I almost had a breakdown. I started on anti depressants in November after weeks of struggling emotionally. I have now weaned off the meds and am getting on with life. He does what he likes drinkwise (and who gives a s**t now) and l plan lots of positive things to do with my life. Sometimes it is the case that to preserve your own health you have to start a new life away from the A but in my case its works for me to stay with him. He aint a bad person...and l know he loves me...but he just loves the drink more. My advice is do what is right for YOU. 😁

you have found a way to live with an active alcoholic, which is something many find they cannot do. if it works for you and you are able to fully invest in your life and not be encumbered by his antics, GOOD FOR YOU!
