I had a similar experience...
I had to go to the hospital for a routine test the other day..and looking around me...people with cancer...people in wheelchairs...people with the look of devastation on their faces...older people trying to get around on their own in 90 degree weather.....
Made me realize how GRATEFUL "I" should be that I am beating this demon of alcoholism...because I have the potential of having a great life.....one some of them have never experienced.
