I am not sure if you have let everyone down. You have let yourself down maybe. You deserve better than this. You can stop drinking now. As long as you are still breathing, it's not too late. The rest will fall into place eventually

About three years ago, I was lonely even though sober and happily married. I had a loneliness in me after having moved to a different town when we married in 2008 and still hadn't connected. Oh, I had acquaintances but no real friends.
That's when I got on SR and started connecting, albeit through cyber space. It was a start. Now I have a group of SR friends that I care for dearly and when I'm off line for awhile, tell me that they missed me.
If you happen to be an Early Riser, please join us on that thread. That group is hilarious! If you like to exercise or want to get started, join us on the fitness 'Road to Fall' thread.
Just don't give up! Try one more time. I did and I've never regretted it.
What's even cooler is now I also have telephone friends from all the nation and a couple in person friends. OMG, it took time but it was so worth it.

I am scared too, Tinker. I am trying to stop on my own, with the help of people here. But there are moments when I just feel that I am going crazy, or I am crazy, or I just won’t make it through. Then, guess what? The time passes and I made it through okay to bedtime. Just keep posting. The scary moments do pass.
