Done with 3!

Evening everyone......I'm just going to go to bed. Had a very nice and sober day! Then it hit me like a ton of bricks around 2pm....I had to close my eyes. Had to leave the thrift store right then...wasn't pretty. Anyway, slept in the car, then slept for 3 hrs.....now it's only 2 1/2 hrs later and I can't hold my eyes open. I figure this is just my body's way of saying it needs to regroup. Well, at least it will do it sober! Talk to y'all in the morning....sweet dreams

Well done on getting through day 3 Braebear, that's the worst one over with, onwards and upwards now taking each day as it comes. You can do this. x

Great job! Getting to sleep was my biggest problem in early recovery. Glad you’re doing so well!

Awesome job, braebear!
And I recall this "must sleep NOW" thing where I had to go to the couch and sleep for hours - a few times, I even pulled the car over in a safe spot and laid down in the back seat because I knew I couldn't make it 5 min home!!! I was desperately in need of repair.

Listening to our bodies is weird because we ran them with alcohol for a long time. You're doing great. I know we are on diff time zones but I will look out for an update on your day 4 later on!! (#whyamiupat4am)

Great going , hope you get through today , then you'll have your first weekend down, then your first week sober will seem achievable.
