I'm shaken after seeing XB on a bus

I have just seen an alcoholic XB on a bus . I didn't talk to him as he was with a carer and his mental health didn't look too good. We split up maybe 5 years ago although I last saw him over a year and a half ago when we went to lunch. i'm sorry to see him unwell but didn't think it woul dhelp him or myself to talk as I'm in alcohol recovery as well. I'm very sad to see him that way.

Sorry he has gone down this very sad route. Your compassion for him is admirable.

For what its worth, I think you were right not to engage.
