We have all been where you are now. For me getting sober was agonisingly difficult but now I’m 3 months sober.

i think the best thing for you to do is to get some sleep and try again tomorrow.

River, I hope you stop drinking and get rid of the alcohol. Is your husband with you? Maybe he can take you to a meeting?

We drink to feel good but then end up feeling worse and making bad decisions because we don’t have an off switch when we drink. All you can do is just try again. Have you thought about going to AA meetings for support? They are really helping me.

I’m glad you are here and posting. Is someone with you? Going to emergency may be a good way to get some help with both the alcohol and how you’re feeling emotionally. Is there someone who can drive you?
