I'm sorry you are drinking, but we were worried so I'm glad you posted.

What's the plan now? What happened?

Sorry to hear you drank but glad you are back here. Can you pour the rest away and go to sleep maybe? Start afresh tomorrow. I'm glad you're back.

Caprice, I'm so glad to hear from you. I'm glad you're back. Sorry about the wallet and cards. Obviously that will be a nuisance. I hope you're starting to feel better.

Guys, the truth is I'm still drinking so I may not be on here for a little while, but the support and kindness you give are indespencible. It's more than my family could ever give.

Thank you all for being so kind.

Yeah, don't leave. If you can't post, at least keep reading.

Don't go it alone, Caprice.

Caprice, we're here to support you through the good and the bad.

Sometimes, just talking through things can lighten the load.

I hope you come back soon.

Appears you would be missed if you didn't touch base. That's extraordinary.
You can't do it alone, and with everyone pulling for each other here, why would you want to?
Stick around, it gets better.

Beautiful dog! Looks totally tuned in to you. Hopefully you didn't relinquish this gorgeous boy? What's his name? He needs you to help with his daily regime. Hope you were able to keep such a wonderful loving companion. Thanks for sharing. Hope you find your way back to sobriety. So much to live for, even our furry family! Please take good care of yourself.

I'm just so relieved you posted. I wasn't sober when I first came here - but being able to talk things over with those who understood helped me find the courage to stop. I hope you'll stay with us - we care about you, Caprice.

You already know this but drinking won't help.

Get back up on that horse

Thank you all for your kind words, without you I'd probably keep on drinking, but I will quit this weekend.

I cancelled my appointment with my doctor and she left me a personal VM (voice mail), I'm so sick of feeling ashamed and abandoning my responsibilities.
On that note, Lady, thanks for the dog compliments, his name is Bronx but I have 3. It's really all I manage to do, ever, is take care of my dogs. I could be sweating bullets and shaking like a leaf, but my dogs always come first and will be taken care of. As long as I live and breathe, they are all that matter. My mom thinks it's sick....and if 1 goes well too bad.....she doesn't get it, these are my children, when 1 goes, I won't be alright.

....i digress

I wanna be back but sober, not rambling on...there's so much I need to catch up on.

Hi D,

Help with what, life? It sucks doesn't it, but sucks harder by being a drunk for sure.

I hope you'll stop drinking now. Drinking will make a bad situation worse.

Please get rid of it and drink water instead.

I'm sorry D and everyone else, it (my dogs) wasn't the cause of my relapse, but 1 of my seniors had to get to the ER....and what drama that was.
Then, the job loss didn't even have to do with my drinking ass (for once), they just weren't getting enough business, BUT I had left a thermos filled with alcohol on the last day, and now I don't need to only get that back and my check, but face them again.
Then there's the story of me losing my wallet, it really couldn't have occurred at a better time. All I got is my passport as ID and I gotta find my rental agreement here to prove I am an Ontario resident, even though they know and have seen me for the past 4 years at the Post Office.

Hi Caprice,

I’m glad you’re posting, but sorry you’re drinking.

Life can definitely be tough some days, but it’s pretty amazing as well. There are lots of good things to look forward to in sobriety. Hat has helped you stay sober in the past?
