BBC documentary
Last night claimed a third of young people under 25 in U.K. Don't drink. Also highlighted how young people who do binge at weekends can easily spiral into alcoholism if they encounter a personal or family tragedy . For those brits that don't drink they r running 7 am morning rave parties in London. Up in morning go to a sober rave party , shower and off to work. Brilliant!!!

Just watched it ('Hayley Goes... Sober'). Fair play to her letting herself be filmed on a drunk night out. And the story of a woman who got cirrhosis after a 3-month bender was tough to hear.
I do find though that a lot of these sort of docs sit on the fence and end with 'I see the error of my ways now so I'll just cut down' type-of-thing (I'm thinking that Adrian Chiles doc too), as if it's as simple as that. Even the doctor made it sound simple, as they often tend to do, seemingly forgetting we're talking about a highly addictive drug.

That's so true Tetrax re doctors, even my own experience s iv had doc s give out and bereat me about my drinking. Such n such enzyme are high or low You Need To Cut Down was all I ever got. With smoking. It's Stop 🛑 straight away, with drinking I don t think they want to call you out as an alcoholic even though they must suspect you are.
