Must read this for uplifting spirit of hope
I shared this in my own class thread, because I made many changes, pretty scary ones, in order to become and live the life I have wanted for myself for 40 years.
I think it’s pretty appropriate for anyone who has been on this thread for years or is brand new here, whether you are struggling with addiction yourself —or love someone who is struggling with it....
Make my mind to come alive today
To the invisible geography
That invites me to new frontiers,
To break the dead shell of
yesterdays
To risk being disturbed and changed
May I have the courage today
To live the life that I love,
To postpone my dream no longer
But to do at last what I came here for
And waste my heart on fear
no more.

Free I love that last line. And waste my heart on fear no more! As a worrier I need to try harder to live in the present instead of always worrying about the what ifs and thereby having a sense of dread. Waste my heart on fear no more💕
