Back again after almost 2 years
I am really ready to stop drinking. I am in the morning of my fifth day. I still feel very crappy, but that is a wonderful thing. The harder this is the more I never want to go through this again. My last longest period of being alcohol free was 60 or 70 days beginning in November 2017. The people here were so helpful. I am very thankful for this site and most especially the good folks who volunteer their time. Thank you 💕
Welcome back Violets. Was your opening post a summary of what you did last time? Will you be adding anything this time to try and get a better result. It is worth thinking about. If you are like me, the memory of how bad it was this time will soon fade, and won't be of any use at all when temptation next rears its ugly head.

thank you for the welcome. I have part of a plan. My first step was to get past withdrawal. Later today I felt a little better. I have a huge list of reasons to stay sober that are very important to me. I have a list of things that help to get through my desire to drink. I have read and watched as much information as I can. I am writing everything new I learn and all of the above. I keep the notes with me at all times. I would have like to go to a meeting today. I was having really bad blind spots, headache and nausea. I was really scared to even drive. I am open to any suggestions.
