Today marks 90 days sober for me! Thanks to a variety of supports (chief among them my relationship with Jesus), I have been getting along rather nicely. I see a therapist once a week (but scaling back to every other week now), going to AA/CR meetings, reading and listening to a lot of recovery/faith related stuff, praying, and continuing to not pick up a drink NO MATTER WHAT. Feeling better physically for sure, lost about 12 pounds so far, marriage is better, work is better, mentally and emotionally better for sure (still some brain fog from time to time), overall sticking to my recovery plan and it's working, thank God!
Thanks to all on this forum, reading your thoughts and experiences has been a tremendous source of information and hope. Keep up the good fight.

Congratulations, and thank you for sharing! AA opened the door to the spiritual life for me. 2 years ago I joined a church and really got involved and learned quite a bit on my own. Now I get what all "those people" meant about a "relationship with Jesus." Never thought this apathetic agnostic would make that "jump." Best thing I ever did, and a huge part of the reason I'm still sober on Day 9.
