Where is everyone from? Is this a UK base?
Wondering if this is a UK based database?

Seems a lot of UK folks are here...and I know the UK has history of heavy drinkers...there is another website UK based...Patient?? something I can't remember the name of it but I belong to it and was active on it for many years...years ago.

I am in the eastern USA. You can see that in my signature line every time I post. I think it would be helpful for folks to consider giving a little location information in their signature line since recovery and medical support systems are different depending on location.

I certainly understand that many have a desire for privacy. But at least in my view non-specific information like what country you are in would be helpful. I have posted this before and gotten blasted by other folks regarding the privacy issue. Oh well... I guess not everyone agrees with me... Accepting this is a small part of my recovery process.

ha ha, I’m not that’s true, maybe anecdotally. Other countries in Europe have worse problems.

I’m from U.K. and don’t drink. I gave up totally at the start of this year and found it easy. Trying to moderate is an impossibility.

I'm from London and I was definitively one of those UK's heavy drinkers. Not any more though.
