Hey I just got a reminder from my app that I've been sober for 12 days and have saved £300...I'm so happy I needed to share it and who better than the most supportive people on here...without finding this site i know I would still be
drinking..just coming on here twice a day puts me in check and shuts my AV up straight away I'm so thankful to be part of this and finally find a support network that 100%helps I hope you all have a lovely day xxx

Congratulations!!! It's awesome your app reminded you! Sounds like you haven't been grinding out the days and are connecting with Life. Day 8 for me. I've been writing the day on my calendar every day since Day 1, which is actually something I never did before. It's like my way of saying, "Whatever happens today, I'm sober now, and I have a choice in the next minute, hour, day..."

I agree, aside from the few jerks who I have ran into, this site is quite helpful. I'm on my first day 2 and its good. Good for you, no sense drinking if your trying to quit. I wish you well.

Congratulations. At 12 days, I could start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. This is no small thing. If we helped, you're welcome, but don't forget to give yourself 95% of the credit. We can give you a nudge and encouragement, but your success is something you can take credit for. And I think you should. Sensing that power inside yourself is important. It builds confidence, and it's something real that becomes part of a realistic self image.
