Yikes...4 bottles of wine is a lot....I wouldn't be able to stop today because I think I would feel too horrible and need a drink...but I would maybe taper it to 2 bottles and then try tomorrow...that is just how I think.

I couldn't even drink one bottle I get a headache on wine after about 2 glasses...I was a beer drinker.

Hope you can get by this because waking up sober is really refreshing.

Welcome back. I remember the days when a bottle(s) of wine was a friend, activity, solace for sadness, and celebration for happiness. I couldn’t imagine what my life would be without it. What would I do with all that time?

Now, over a year and a half after the breakup, I realize that bottle had nothing to offer me at all. Like many splits, I wonder now, “What did I ever see in you?”

What's the plan for quitting safely ? 4 bottles a day is a lot to stop cold turkey.

Welcome back Rainy. What is the plan for today? I was drinking mass quantities daily before I finally quit too, make sure you are safe about it.

Sorry you're struggling rainy but it is good to see you back on SR!

Analysis and change were what made the difference between me stopping again and relapsing again sometime later. You can do it.
