Recognizing happy emotions

Acknowledging anger, fear, sadness, shame, fear, discomfort, numb, grief, pain, frustrated, irritated and confused is important. So is recognizing and allowing a wide range of "happy" emotions.

Recognizing and cultivating happy emotions through inner-awareness (instead of looking towards others to fulfill this) can help create a sense of well being.

Soft Happiness

Amused ~ Calm ~ Contented ~ Encouraged ~ Friendly ~ Hopeful ~ Inspired ~ Jovial ~ Open ~ Peaceful ~ Smiling ~ Upbeat ~ Pleased ~ Satisfied

Medium Happiness and Contentment

Cheerful ~ Delighted ~ Excited ~ Fulfilled ~ Glad ~ Gleeful ~ Gratified ~ Happy ~ Joyful ~ Lively ~ Merry ~ Optimistic ~ Playful

Intense Happiness, Contentment, and Joy

Awe-filled ~ Blissful ~ Ecstatic ~ Elated ~ Enthralled ~ Exhilarated ~ Giddy ~ Jubilant ~ Radiant ~ Thrilled ~ Rejuvenated
