Last Monday night

Last Monday I drank like all night and went back to the store in the morning and had a couple of beers. Beer is a trigger for me. My last drink was that Tues morning..the weekend is a trigger I actually bought an arbor mist on Sat but I didn't drink it! Last night my husband said I like this twin cause he used to call the drunk me..my evil twin. He thought I was going to drink Friday cause we usually do but I protested and went to bed he got over it and then found out I guess we can actually hang out without drinking..hope I can keep it going!!

Don't just 'hope' you can keep it going, make a plan for staying sober and stick to it. It takes work and changes but it's worth it.

I told my husband I am not going to drink. We usually drink together but weekends, grill outs etc are definitely a trigger. Been reading a lot of posts on here just gonna fight the want to do it just one sip turns to a binge.

My suggestion would be to stock your fridge with plenty of non-alcoholic drinks before the weekend. That will help out quite a bit.
