Hi everyone
i used to post on here about two years ago and this forum was literally the only thing that helped me. In the meantime I have had a baby (stayed completely sober, was very tough) but now feel like my drinking is creeping up again. My elder boy is 6.
Just wanted to come back for help and support.

Welcome back! I find this site incredibly helpful. It’s amazing to have a network of support at one’s fingertips. Been game changing for me as my work prevents me going to meetings as often as I’d like. Do keep posting when you need- we’re all here!

for me I had to reach a point of accepting I could have the life I wanted and be who I wanted to be, or I could drink...but not both.
Do you feel like you're at that point now?

Hey Nyah I'm totally with you. Yet again all I can offer is what Dee just said. Stupidly reasonable, intelligent and wise Dee. Urgh. My hangover is totally gonna hate Dee tomorrow. But also respect and listen to him, I f***ing hope...
