Lyrics and bummer news
So, I relapsed. I am sure no big shocker as I fully admitted to not having a plan. I still don't if I am honest. But, yesterday I saw "Cats" and it was absolutely breath taking, amazing. I know a lot of people dismiss it as a silly show and I suppose if you don't get cats or musicals, I can see why. However, when "Memory" was sung, a song I have listened to and performed so many times, I was suddenly struck by certain lyrics. It reminded me of just what one goes through in very early sobriety.
" Daylight
I must wait for the sunrise
I must think of a new life
And I mustn't give in
When the dawn comes
Tonight will be a memory too
And a new day will begin"
Anyway, kind of struggling at the moment. But, had a lovely experience at the same time. I hope I can live it.

Very meaningful song. I often take lyrics to heart and gain inspiration from them.
You can start a simple plan and build on it. Something like I will not drink before I call a friend or post on SR. I will not drink before I try something like urge surfing or thinking through the drink and playing the tape through to the end.
Stay Strong!

You got this, BC! Get a plan together, any plan, and make it happen.
I'm kind of a "yes man" these days...so maybe I'll go see a musical. I have found that experiencing new things helps me stay sober, and a musical is NOT something I would've ever considered. I'll keep an eye out for a local production.
