Day 2 again
I tried for years to quit drinking, too.
It wasn't until I reached out for help that I was able to stop.
In my case, it was AA. But there are other programs of recovery too.
I also came here and found support.
It's been over ten years since this drunk has had a drink, you can do it too.
Do whatever it takes. Put the time you use drinking and recovering into getting sober for good.
There is hope, and remember, you never have to drink again.

I have tried the normal tools. Distraction doing things different. Cooking cleaning etc. I don't feel comfortable in meetings. I get to a certain point in and think ahh it's ok to drink again nd it's not. I think I have control then when I start I can't stop. I am a weekend binge drinker where 1 drink is just never enough. I don't want to be like this anymore
