My mum has Parkinson’s. It breaks my heart to see her struggle with everything most of us find normal. One of my motivations for trying to not drink was her. She has an illness she has no control over, I have one I have absolute control over. Yet here I am thinking I should have another drink I have a bit left and i could refill that glass but I really shouldn’t.

I'm sorry about your mum Wood - I watched a family friend struggle to the bitter end with Parkinsons - but yeah drinking isn't helping either of you.

Gosh, Parkinson's is a tough disease. I'm sure you'd feel good if you were able to be present for your Mom.
