1 year - Feeling Good

Reached one year drug and alcohol free last month.

I was an alcoholic and benzo&stimulant addict.

Feels great to be sober. I can't tell you how much of a difference it makes.

Looking back it was a nightmare for myself and those around me. The first few months were definitely the hardest, but, it does get easier.

I can't say that I'm 100% sober as I shouldn't abuse caffeine (coffee) sometimes when I'm particularly bored. But, that's a mild issue for now. I'll be okay.

I'll be around if anyone needs someone to talk to.
