Can someone repost the intermittent chicken story?
Hi all. I read the intermittent chicken story on here a while ago and don't know how to find it again. It was so useful. Essentially it's about intermittent reinforcement- more damaging than getting no reinforcement at all.
This is what I am finding so hard - when AP is really nice a lot of the time, but then nasty, unsupportive and belittling at other times.
if the alcoholic people in our lives were horrible all the time, it would be easier to step away and make a clean break.
