Hey all, I'm new to this forum and need a question answered. My husband is recovering and taking suboxone daily. He doesnt want to take the full dosage, and takes a significantly smaller dose than recommended. (Script is 2mg daily and he's taking an 1/8 of that). So, the question is, will suboxone be effective at this low of dose, or does he have the likelihood of getting high if he uses again?

I've never used them and others will know way better than me but I thought subs were sposed to help the user not use again?

Do you think thats why your husband is lowering his dose?

Welcome to the family. I would think that would be a good question to ask his doctor. We do have a suboxone forum further down the main page, which might be helpful to you.
