Hi Vick. I'm on day two also after a slip following a long stretch of sobriety. Day one was hellacious. Hope you make it this time. I fully intend to.

I'm on day two as well again 😳😳😳
But I'm not going to beat myself up, man!!!! that serves no purpose.
Instead I'm going to learn, I'm going to lean on this site, I'm going to post, I'm going to read, I'm going to be kind to myself.
I wish you love and peace on your journey
🙏💖

Good to see you Doris!

It took me lots of failed attempts to get sober so don't be too hard on yourself.

It was only when I got scared that I wasn't going to make it that drove me to work out a way of reducing the worst of the cravings - in my case by getting up two hours earlier than normal, running and falling asleep by 9.30pm exhausted.

Welcome. It takes humility and courage to come back. I'm glad you're here for those of us who are newcomers. We can learn.
