Back on the bus

So following on from yesterday, the one good thing to come out of it, is that I didn't want to carry on today. Normally I would of done, you know that, oh f**k it attitude.
Instead got up for work and worked through it. To hear most people have tried an tried again untill they finally kicked it really helped. The feeling of messing up is a horrible one, that's for sure. But I'm not going to let it grind me down, I need to except that i messed up an learn from it.
Much love to all 🙏 and let's get back on the bus 😃

That’s the attitude Doris.
Fair play to you.
It is a tiring process but well worth the effort.
You get out what you put in.
I kept my guard up solid for about 11 months.
I was so scared I’d get tricked by my beast.
I got it’s number now and it just comes as second nature.

Glad ur back on the bus

Thank you so much, it is tiring, in fact it's exhausting. But I will get there 💪

It is exhausting.
Give yourself plenty of slack.
You deserve all the time you need to focus on your recovery.
You are going to get tired and foggy headed ( like baby brain I imagine)
Sleep it off and let your brain process all the new information.
There is a lot to take in.
Keep feeding your sobriety and this will starve the beast.
The scales will eventually tip and you will have your life back.

I have every faith in you

That's awesome Doris!

It is not easy to have an optimistic attitude after a setback on your journey. Learn from this experience and come back with even more grit and determination. You've got this!

Think about what you can do differently this time, Doris....consciously plan for a different outcome

Doris,

I think about relapsing as insanity. After all I have learned here and there, deciding to drink ever again could drive me over the edge.

I have healed so much...so much stronger and patient. I am so amazing.

I must suffer when it is time to suffer.

Thanks.
