Day 4 made it a goal to not drink on new years.
Hi Everyone, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!.
well for me its back and forth back and forth back for the last....4 years
I just don't learn nor do i stick to the chances i get. I obviously self sabotage because of utter worthlessness.
words cannot describe the emotional maelstrom that goes in my head so i won't even bother typing. All i will say is that i need to stay sober because i cannot tolerate this depression any longer. This depression is now only there BECAUSE of alcohol because when I am sober I am happy and self-driven.
this is not a boo hoo I am a depressed post, this is getting serious for me.
I am praying that sobriety ( and i will stick to it) will shine some light for me because in the last 10 years i have never really been - sober. only 2 months. TWO MONTHS IN 10 YEARS! ...that's horrible
I am going for a bike ride.

Just think how awesome it will be to start the new year without a hangover! I am looking forward to tomorrow- cooking a big turkey, watching movies, and hitting a meeting. None of which would happen if I chose to drink tonight. Your reasons for being sober can be your motivation not to drink.
