So here I am again, my day 1, probably my millionth day 1!! It's just shameful, I came here a few years ago & I was sober for 6 months & then started to convince myself I could moderate it, what a joke!! I had a wake up call though, my 6 yr old saw me drunk for the 1st time & asked my husband what was wrong with me, I am beyond mortified, feeling like a lousy hungover mum right now, so I'll b keeping close to this site as much a possible as the support on here has always been great. Thanks for reading!

So glad you came back. Keep posting and as you already know you will get lots of support. Shame is terrible though I do find it can be a powerful motivator to stay quit. You can do this!

Thanks for the replies, I've not posted but have been logging in, 1 week tomo & the wk has been better than expected!! Busy with work, kids & revision so had zero thoughts of drinking! Tipple this eve was a cadburys hot chocolate!!

Welcome back. Remember that feeling about your child seeing you and use it as motivation so that it never happens again. I was never good at moderation. But then I was never really interested in moderation, either. Glad you came back.
