I’m back , worst bender ever done - in front of my wife , children and mum

feel dreadful , things I said to the girl I was having a affair with for 10 years , disgusted with myself

bottom of barrel now , just need to crawl my way out

need some serious help mentally I think

I'm glad you came back, too. What are you prepared to do so that you never have to be in this position again?

I think you need to seriously address your alcoholism. That take action. If your recent SR activity is any indication, where you only post after a drinking spree, it begs the question...what are you doing between binges?

If the answer is nothing, then there lies the problem.

Well don't reach for the bottle rainy, just be there for her. I have no experience of that situation but I don't think people forward plan a suicide. Maybe you could talk to someone professional like the Samaritans if she doesn't want to.

Glad you are back btw.

You are in what sounds like a very, very tough spot. Going to have some hard rows to hoe ahead. Only way you'll do the right thing by your self, the women and your kids is to stay sober.

Do something else. Taking the drink will only make things worse. If she's serious with her threats to hurt herself, or even if she's not, maybe some professional involvement would help.

I'm sorry you got yourself into such a deep hole Rainy.

If it was me I'd steer your ex towards some some crisis lines and then focus on yourself and your recovery and your family.

The only way out of a hole is stop digging, start climbing....
