Getting in to the ‘flow’
Another good thing to look forward to in sobriety is ‘Flow’ (positive psychology).
Everything just seems to click in to place. You get in the zone.
Feel sharp, at one and in the moment.
This phenomenon seems to happen quite often for me now I’m sober.
So glad I chose this new path

Interesting stuff ‘let’s get sorted’
It’s very satisfying when it comes around.
My flow has been interrupted by a negative phone call before. I remember saying that the call ruined my Qi.

Snow,
Us ex drunks have an extra feeler out there than never drinkers. I find it almost unimaginable that someone goes their whole life never drinking. It is believable that someone drank and didn't like it.
Folks that never took drinking to the routine degenerative level are less tolerant than us ex drunky drunks.
From what i have learned, i must remain vigilant for the rest of days filling in the gap left my drinking ways.
I am ok with that. I am amazed as well each day by how cool life is as a sober man.
But, as an addict for life, feeling cool is a trigger.
This is the poison i wear around my neck for the rest of my earthly days.
Thanks.

But as time goes by the trigger becomes rusty and eventually seizes. I just have to be careful of extreme situations such as tragedy as this acts as WD40 ( other penetrating oils are available) and frees the trigger up ready to be pulled.
Thanks dizzy
This is what I've craved, but haven't been able to find. A big problem may be I have always tried to do things myself instead of getting guidance. I'm reading and listening to Eckhart tolle, "The power of now". Hoping with more sober time I will learn to be in the "flow" more often.

Little surprises here and there that spur you on and make you want more.
In a clean healthy way.
The more I learn the more I feel like there is more to live for.
And I am already in I good state of mind. It’s all very exciting.
I can have all this OR I can drink.
It’s a no brainier for me.
