Hoping all is well out your way John.

Many of us are connected to SR each and
everyday. Some share everyday about what's
going on with them, maybe how they are
feeling, what they are up to, what they are
thinking, wondering about stuff and so on.

Some read and have a quiet presence here
as well.

No one will ever know what im up to
or how im feeling, or what's bothering
me unless I speak up. It take us to physically
type what's going on with us. So different
than if we went to a face to face meeting
in person.

Im pretty sure a many of us wonder if
others think of us during the day or if
we cross their minds. Yes, I do read others
shares and keep what they say in mind
during the day or remember it down the
road.

There are times, I want to say something, or
type it out and eventually let it go thinking
what I have to say may not be that important.

Maybe someone else has said what I was
thinking better. Still, if im quiet, no one will
ever know what im thinking, so I have to
remind myself to speak up.

Im pretty sure we all have a genuine care
and wonder about folks around here, Those
who come and go. Wonder where they are,
what they are doing. Are they safe, sober,
happy, content.

You will never know how I am unless I
share or say something. To keep my presence
known, active and a part of my own recovery
responsibility.

Don't hesitate to share with us, with what
that lots going on means. You'd be surprised
that with whatever is going on in your life,
many of us probably have experienced it one
time or another in our own lives.

If we have, then we can share how we dealt
with it and learned how to overcome it.

Sometimes when we say we are fine, we really
dont want to burden others with our own problems.
So we bury them till they pile up and then
we have these heavy bags to carry with us each
day till we cant carry them no more.

Unload those heavy crosses or bags on us
so that you can be free to enjoy life a little
bit more today.

I often wonder how people are doing that have posted here. Sometimes I don't want to be intrusive and post asking how they are doing because I feel they may just want to be private with how well or not they are doing. I respect that of people on this forum. Regardless you ask why people have not asked about you. When they did you never mentioned what was going on with you?

sometimes when I have a lot going on I get pretty quiet cause sometimes when I tell people what's going on they just say quit complaint or quit feeling sorry for yourself. There is probably some truth to both points by neither one really helps much and sometimes just makes things worse so l usually withdraw for a while until I sort everything out. But even when I get quiet its still nice to know people still remember me.

Some times I just feel defeated. I get up every day and work hard to get everything done thinking will eventually settle down, but no matter how hard I try, more stuff keeps showing up. Really thought that if I just kept up on things, things would get back to normal by Christmas, but it isn't gonna happen. Just tired of the fight I guess. John
