Cheap alcohol expensive consequences!
Christmas in the UK Christmas Stella and litre bottles of famous grouse whiskey for £16.
I looked at it on the shelves but resisted. Every time I have bought a litre of whiskey for £16 it has led to impulsive loss of money loss of days at work loss of self respect and extreme anxiety.

I, too, by the end of my drinking career was willing to spend quarters that I'd saved for laundry on the cheapest high-percentage beer/malt liquor I could purchase discreetly. What a devoted slave I was!
Thankfully we know we don't have to do that anymore
