Thank you
Thankyou, to each and every one of my friends on here for your continued support. It makes me feel a little less alone. I know that lm going through a process, almost like grieving for a deceased loved one, except that one gets easier over time, and one appears to get harder as time goes on.
Again, thank you so much. X

Awal…...I think that we all can relate to that....
Remember that grieving takes time....and, at times, it feels worse, before it begins to feel better.....
You have only been at this for a short time...since you started the actual grieving, that is.....
Don't give up....just continue to take care of yourself and do the next right thing...and, you will get through this....

Glad you are here and sharing your journey. It all takes time and work.
I went through grieving process too on many aspects in my life. I found it was good to be able to feel it and not numb it away with substances or obsessions.

It took me a while to stop reacting, to step back and take the time to make rational choices when dealing with my alcoholic stepson. It's practice, really!
I know you were disappointed in yourself for checking the brandy bottle, but I believe the saying is "progress, not perfection", and you *are* making progress!!
