jojo Has 30 Days!
Hello friends. I am happy to report that I made it to 30 days! I am looking forward to many more 30 days, 24 hours at a time, with the help and support of all my friends on SR.
This time I am doing things differently. I realized, after too many failures, that I CANNOT DO THIS ALONE. So, I am going to meetings, I got a sponsor, I am working the steps, reading the literature, keeping a gratitude journal, turning my life over to god, and posting here. It ain't easy, but it sure is simple.
This time I am gonna wait until that miracle comes!

JoJo - that's great news! You are so inspiring!
You're right. We can't do this alone.
I haven't been to an AA meeting in awhile. Been sober and been using SR and a therapist, but I really know AA is the answer.
I've already found meetings to go to when I get back to New Jersey.

Congratulations! Jojo, congratulations on 30 days!! You are seeing the miracles happen in your life and that is great! Remember we are always here for you through everything! I know you have a special glimmer in your eye today for your accomplishment.

I am just back from a meeting and have them scheduled for wherever I will be as there is no excuse really!
Well Done and I found a sponser too - its great having someone lead us with wisdom through the jungle of fear we have deep inside us. The Steps give us freedom from this fear and madness. The celebrated recovery of the meetings is a firm testament to this and great encouragement that it is possible and our own choice to lead wonderfully sober lives!

Hey, you guys. THANKS! I feel so supported. I met another new friend in recovery on Sat. and we are going to a woman's meeting tonight. It works if you work it.
