What now?
Welcome!
1. Don't buy alcohol
2. Read around here
3. Find a program of recovery and start to get to work
4. Accept the process and the change will come
5. Find a hobby, something to keep your hands and mind busy when the cravings come. They are short, work through them.
6. Embrace your life and the second chance you were given.
7. Post here as often as needed
8. DO NOT DRINK- It is not worth it
9. Write down all the reasons you do not want a drink. From what it does to you to how you feel the next day. Revisit these writings as often as you must.
10. You are worth it.
The last feeling I ever want is to have to feel hungover, ashamed, or guilty again. So to do that, I do not drink. Every day I am sober, the happier I am and those around me.
It will get easier
The cravings will slowly fade
You will be stronger
You will be able to deal with life on life's terms as you build your toolbox.
Welcome
