What’s one thing you’ll do today instead of drink?

Im taking my dog for a long walk with some nice hot chocolate. NYC marathon is happening right down the road so maybe I’ll watch some of that.

It’s dreary and raining here so no dog walk today. We have a birthday dinner to attend. Other than that, house cleaning and drinking coffee are on my agenda.

Lots of coffee! An hour or so of exercise. Some yard work. Play with the dog. Tv. When I was drinking, I’d be dealing with alcohol poisoning half the day until I was well enough to resume drinking. Life is much better for me now!

Sounds amazing. Maybe even a casserole for me in that menu...cream of mushroom soup and hot sauce allll day.

Coffee, cleaning, some TV, some reading, and spending time with my family. A relaxing nice day. Active alcoholic me would have spent the morning puking, trying to hide the shakes, and planning my day around getting more booze, and hiding my drinking. Today is a blessing and I am so thankful I am sober
